Hello,
Has anybody got an update where to get an repacement soft top for an Z3 in Cheshire or the neigbourhood? the plastic window just split yesterday when the soft top was  opened.

Thanks in advance,

Lutzd

You have a couple of options to you, If your hood is the original OEM hood you can get a replacement rear window from BMW or eBay for approx. £100, be wary of the ebay ones as they are not always a good fit, you can fit these with one person but if you can get a spare pair of hands it does make it easier.

You can get a new top for approx. £400.00 fitted, this is a pattern replacement soft top but gets very good reviews, the difference is the rear window is sewn in and this does not have the OEM relief pockets.

Takes approx. 4hrs to fit, even if it is a bit of a drive for you this is going to be cheaper than the £1700.00 BMW want :)

Hope this helps

Hello Brian,
thanks for the hint, I will ask them. Can you tell me what is the difference between the 'mohair' and the original softtop?

Regards,
