Looking to buy a Z4 3.0 , any suggestions , problems to look out for ?
It is not my main car just a week end toy ! Does high miles equal high running costs ? What would 5-6K buy me ? Insurance costs ? Running costs ? Anything to avoid ? What to check ? Dealer Pxs

Have a look at z4-forum.com.
Lots of information on there and often some really nice looked after members cars for sale. Here's a good place to start. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15177url Mentions the common issues of roof motors failing, window regulators and broken rear springs (most fit H&R or Eibach replacements). If it's a weekend car consider classic car insurance. Classicline insurance recognise my Z4M as a future classic. Have a nose through the for sale section to see what for sale or sold recently to gauge prices.
