Just bought some new twin spoke alloys from BMW for my E36 M3 Evo convertible, and recommendations for taking care of them ? Have bought some Gtechnig panel wipe and C5 alloy armour to start :)

Yeh using a water based one, was thinking more of a coating to minimise brake dust, bought some G Techniq as a start |

Does anyone make brake pads that work well, but produce less dust ? I would love to fit some if they exist, as I hate cleaning the fiddly bits in cross spoke wheels

There's an Armor All wheel spray that I find makes dust removal much easier - just apply it when wheels are clean.
If you Google "low dust brake pads" you'll see a few options. If you find an e36 specific forum then you can ask other owners - but ask them about stopping power too (!) Edited by MHunt - 20 Jan 2016 at 6:57am |

I've used this for years on wheels both painted and diamond cut
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Smartwax-10100-Ultimate-Shine-Protection/dp/B000PWH1VO Apply lightly and build up some layers of protection with it and then seal off with autoglym extra gloss protection again another few light coats built up, This combination I find lasts for ages and is good at keeping the dust at bay and easily washable without harsh cleaners. |
