The link below takes you to a selection of Electrical Troubleshooting Manuals (ETMs). It's the fifth option down, the file is approx. 12Mb
Hope this has the information you need.

The Haynes manual for the E28 520i and 525e has the early Motronic wiring diagram - the 525e had the same system.
