Does anyone have any experience of using one of these products to prevent paint chips on the front of the car? Are they worth having, likely cost, appearance etc.
Thanks

Hi Stuart,
I have PPF on the front of my Z4MC (Paintshield, fitted about 18 months ago), it's VERY good but you can tell it's fitted, especially on darker colours (mine is interlagos blue). I went for the full bonnet and wings as I didn't want the line across the front of the bonnet and wings, a decision that I am still happy with, however, at the time they didn't have premium film in 60" lengths and so could only use "standard" film on my bonnet and wings, the result is that I now have what looks like orange peel in the paint but it's actually in the film. The alternative now is premium film but it comes at a premium price, I think it's about another 25%.... Hope this helps. Cheers, Darren.
