Ok guys/girls,
I'm getting in very early this time, Gaydon will be on the 16th August 2009 at the haritage motor museum again, and after people got tickets too late last year and consequently the EA region had a very small attendance as they had to go into other areas, all people interested in showing for the EA this year please let me know and get your tickets AND EA Region passes early (there were at least 15 EA members but only 6 on the EA stand as they were poached by other areas). I also require 2 volunteers for marshalling this year (normally get free tickets as a thank you), I have marshalled the last 3 years now and I think it's time for a break. Come on EA lets bully the EA region back into the festival!!

Hope so Aaron, I'll put my name forward to provisionally marshal, I am after 2 though so I can relax a bit on the sunday, but the more tickets get snapped up then the better place we should get. I'll email the club this morning and put myself forward, I've suggested from next month

Thanks Gordon. Agree Duxford was (and always is !) brilliant. Thanks for joining us there.
I was around our area in the morning but did get a chance to look around the other cars in the PM. Like Bletchley and Silverstone, there is a lot to see and enjoy at each site. At Gaydon, i will most probably try to stay around the Regional area most of the time (although i have got to see the 8's and Alpina and 7's !) I only live 1 hr away so will arrive at Gaydon for 7am on the Sunday. You will no doubt be passing by my doorstep if you are going Sat; you are welcome to stop by for a coffee. We are 3miles on A45 from the A45/A14 junction, between Peterborough and Northampton. If not, pop over to the regional area, from the Mpower area, for a chat next Sunday. |
