Just thought i would say Hello to the members of this club as a new member myself. I live in the county of Shropshire.
I recently bought a new M3 Convertible which in my humble opinion is a fantastic car. I can't wait for some decent weather and to meet like minded people.
Roll on summer.

Welcome to the club and the forum. Lets hope for loads of top down weather coming soon, I'm sick of all this cold.
Phil Rosenbloom  sorts out the midland drive and dine which is fairly near to your area I think and is an excellent drive out and a meal, see the Zed Register page for details. (He won't mind welcoming another soft top even if it's not a Zcar )

Welcome to the forum. We in Central region are trying to get interest in more meets over in your area.
We do have one organised for April 26th at RAF Cosford; this is a Breakfast Club meet between the musuems, which does mean you need to be there for 8.45am ! A great air musuem complex with free admission if you havent been before.
See post in Central Region of forum.
Drive a BMW and you will have a smile on your face every time (and- drive twice as far as you need to !!)

Welcome Mike, fine choice of car and echo the comments about summer!

Cheers,
Darren.

Hello 007, I don't think many here will disagree with your humble opinion about the M3

Thanks for that Muppet 2. On a serious note i do absolutely love my car. I know there are some who say its not as good as the coupe. I noted the editors review and the reply in Febs club mag. The coupe is truely an awesome car in everyway. I think the same about the convertible. It's true, there is some movement in the chassis with the roof down but its not that bad that i even think about it. However, with the roof up its gone. Yes the roof does take up the boot when down. But i'm sure owners of all 3 series convertibles were well aware of that when they bought their cars. Anyway we could find things we don't like in every car. I think we shouldn't be digging at each others BMW's anyway just enjoying them for what they are. Brilliant bits of engineering hey.
