Hello Everyone,

I am a proud owner of a 120D M sport and I recently change tyres to the Brisdgestone Potenza RE002 Andrenalin 225/45/R17 91W & 205/50/R17 93W.

Had them on for 3-4 days now and the acceleration is much slower than before. The handling is better obviously but I feel like I have lost 10% of power. Any ideas if this is just because they are new and they just need some time to adjust?

Thanks

New tyres always need time to scrub up, but it shouldn't affect your speed unless your trying I hoon it. Are you sure it's not just a placebo?

thanks for the reply Dan116i, It's not a placebo unfortunately. The whole car just seems alot heavier than before and needs alot more power to accelerate properly. Fuel consumption is very poor aswell.
