120D Timing chain issue which years are affected

I've bought the wife a 2005 120D 
Since then I've been told about the potential timing chain problems ?

From what I've read it seems to be 2007 onward ?

Is that the case or are 2005 models affected as well ?
and is there anything else I should be wary of ?
