Hi all,
 
i found this listing yesterday:
 
 
According to the owner, the car is a 2002 from 1966 and one of 6 that were used for a motorshow... in fact that reg is from 1966, but the car isn't. it is from 1972 according to the DVLA.
 
First, the 2002 wasn't launched until 1968 and the interior trim is a post '71 standard. the grill and the bumpers are also a give away...

Unfortunately its not uncommon for sellers to describe items incorrectly - difficult to know whether due to limited knowledge, misinformation previously or wish to mislead

Ithink my efforts paid off. i've emailed the seller about his car and he added a note in the listing saying that the car wasn't from 1966...

Auto's didn't come out until 1971 as well. Ebay always beware!!!!! Do your homework and never believe the seller.
