Would you recommend using a flushing oil when carrying out a oil change?

Just normal engine oil :)

If you change your oil every 10,000 miles or so, when it is really hot, sludge deposits will be in suspension anyway, and come out with the oil.
Those who fall over themselves to keep a FBMWSH probably have more sludge than the DIY people, as the oil is invariably almost cold when changed. Edited by Mike Fishwick - 06 Mar 2009 at 1:43pm |
