In July we are heading to Fife for the Monthly meet. We will be meeting as usual at 1pm and the chosen venue for lunch is Rockies in Anstruther. There will be 2 menus available. The lunch menu is the special one 2 courses for £8.95 or 3 for £10.95. For anyone who wants something lighter there is the clubhouse menu which has the usual burgers , fish etc this will be suject to a small price increase in July. The food is a very high standard here and is made to order. The lunch menu has been made up for us see the links below to view both menus. Although we can order from the clubhouse menu the clubhouse will be out of bounds as it is open to the Golf Club members only so there wont be an option to go in there for a pint.
 We will possibly go for a drive after the meet if the weather is nice but i will update you on that nearer the time.  I will need to confirm the numbers as I have booked the restaurant for 20. Please add your name to this list if you are intending to eat at all on the day. We will arranage the usual meeting points for the drive over. Watch this thread for info. Please let me know if you are going to this and are intending to eat as I need to confirm numbers by Thursday.
 Neil is putting his thinking cap on and will come up with a nice route for the drive through. We will have the usual meet up points. I can meet anyone at the Gyle and the bridge and I am sure there will be some meeting a Stirling Services then we can all maybe arrange to meet for a leisurely drive thro for 1pm! Thoughts as usual are always welcome!

I will meet anyone from the East at the Gyle at 11.00am leaving at
11.10 to meet Neil and anyone else at McDonalds at the Bridge leaving
there at 11.30
The west coasters can meet at Stirling Services (Tommy please feel free to change this) and leave at 11am heading to Moto Services Kinross where we will all meet at 12pm leaving there all together to head to Anstruther for 1pm. We also have a return route by the coast planned. (thanks Neil  )Hopefully the weather will be good as this is a nice drive. Hope this suits everyone

Had a blast today as well. The time just shot by, I couldn't believe it was nearly 6 o'clock when we left Burntisland

Thanks to everyone who came along to this meet today was good to see some new faces too.
Although the weather was not promising on the drive over we were welcomed by the sun in Anstruther and it stayed with us all day. I think everyone will agree The Rockies was a great venue in a lovely setting by the sea. The food was exceptionally good value and I hope everyone enjoyed it.

Yup, fantastic day and the banter was good as always, few faces missing but we'll catch up soon enough !!! lol
Loved the grunt from that M5 and thanks to Nero for the wee blast through the twisties, that was a good adrenalin rush ..... just the job to clear the cobwebs, and work off the lunch. Oh and welcome to Fife, speedbump capital of the World !!! !!! !! |
