A few pics from the monthly classic car meet at Earls Barton (www.classiccarmeet.co.uk) yesterday. Good to see Bern there, but the show could use some more BMWs!
I overheard a conversation about this Mustang being entirely factory original (though it looks far too good for that) M3 stuck in 80's traffic: Oldsmobile reflected in GT6 air filters: Split screen camper in stunning condition: Bentley boys on their way out - the goggles are far too modern: A 1916 LaFrance - incredible And lastly, Bern flying the flag! The organisers own a red E30 Sport Evo, but for reasons unknown I didn't take any pics of that.

Thanks Nick for sharing your photos from last night. I just couldnt take my eyes off that La France - just BRILLIANT for an 85 year old car. To see the driver having to walk round in front of the steering wheel to switch it off; the wooden spoked wheels and the "BIG" chain drive to each wheel. Obviously the windscreen in front of the steering wheel cant be very effective ! I didnt realise that he was co-owner of Bruntingthorpe until i met the other brother, who i know. Going to have to make an effort to get up there one day to see what else they have. It was the best car attendance there this summer (except of course the BMW display we had on the first one!) and i didnt have a camera !!!! Shame that next month is last one this year (last Wednesday of the month), as daylights getting short now. Its been very successful with never less than 120 cars arriving. I can put up later photos later of some of the organisors cars, incl the E30 M3 and a Z8 |

Drive a BMW and you will have a smile on your face every time (and- drive twice as far as you need to !!)
