Whats the best oil for my 89 G M3,

Hi, i've had the car just over a year now and had a inspection 2 this time last year so is due a oil service. 

Ive been using this CASTROL MAGNATEC 10W 40 a3-b4 part sin

Is this the right, i have heard it is a pretty good oil for these is this right? 

Cheers any help would be good
Bmw m3 e30 89 G

VW golf rallye 4wd 91 J

Bmw 635 csi highline 85 D (dads) lol

And my new car- renault Clio V6 on a (UK) 02 plate :)

I use Silkloene Pro S 10-40, your choice should be fine, as long as it's the right grade and meets the specs it should fine.

Hi, cheers for helping out.. :) Yeah I've used that make before but in a 200sx, believe its the right grade being 10 - 40 if that's what you mean? 

I have seen that BMW do recommend that you use 15 - 40 but for ultimate use the 10 - 40 :)

Nothing wrong with Magnetec - and many other E30 M3 drivers I know also do - Opie on here do make good offers from time to time - hope that helps
 
I like to keep to Castrol oils but others do work as Darren says
