I had a good day thanks Neil, they put my car on the ramps and it got a clean bill of health. They also had a look at my ongoing fault but they said I needed to book it in as it could be a case of trial and elimination.
This fault- When driving the car around 1k-1.5k it misfires, anything after those revs it flys. Also at standstill when you blip the throttle the engine picks up,but when you blip it again, it fails to pick up on all 6 cylinders.A week or so ago it didn't start for a minute or so,the one and only this has happened. The things that have been changed and checked so fare are- fuel filter,Main rubber hose on inlet manifold,no fault codes have showed up when tested, all 6 plug leads taken off one at a time, engine note changes each time, there doesn't seem to be any air leaks.I'm going to change the distributor cap and rotor arm in a couple of weeks,PLEASE HELP
