War Memorial Park will once again be filled with over 900 vehicles at the Basingstoke Festival of Transport 2014.

The festival includes a huge range of vehicles on static display, including classic, vintage and commercial vehicles, fire engines, military trucks, and a variety of specialist car clubs, trade stalls and catering outlets.

Whether you're a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday, Basingstoke Festival of Transport is a great day out for all the family.

The event has accessible car parking and toilets. Shop Mobility scooters are also available.

I think you will find that it is now too late to display unless you already have a display ticket. We as the Wessex region of the BMWCCGB attending this event with our friends from the Hampshire BMW Drivers Club.

However, please do not let that deter you from coming and enjoying the day it is massive and there is always lots to do.

A good event with a fair attendance thanks to members from the Wessex region and our colleagues from the SE region and the Hampshire BMW Drivers club. A wide range of BMW cars, some classics, 7 series, Alpina B7. B10 and B3S. Z3 and a number of M power cars and various others, apologies if I missed any out. I guess around 20 or so vehicles.

We also made contact with two chaps who had E30's but were not currently members and hope we encouraged them to join in other future events.

Think 3 members from the register attended so they may have pics that I can share with the car club if required..

Will try to get to some Region meets so busy as you are aware with the register at present Thatcham listed on our meets section.

Andrew, I took a few which I have yet to down load. I will flip them to you shortly. There was a chap with a green 7 from Winchester who was at Duxford last week and also Jeff or Geoff in a silver 7 who came to Yarmouth last year.

Yes, I know what you mean there is a lot going on with various events filling the calendar.
