Michelin Pilot Super sports, no question....they are fantastic tyres...

Think about what you can do for the club, not what it can do for you...

I have Bridgestone Turanza run flats 205/60 R16 92W ER300 tyres on my 2012 320ED.  What would you recommend as a replacement?  Should I consider All season tyres, asI do not want 2 sets.

For a road tyre, I can't recommend Michelin Super Sports enough. I use mine for the commute (25k miles a year), a couple of track days a year, and 2 three day 'Ring trips a year - all on the same tyre.

Fronts are lasting 40k+ and rears around 20k.

The Falkens last nowhere near as long, nor do they perform anywhere near as well - but they are considerably cheaper.

The PSS came joint top in a recent test. There's also a 2012 Auto-Bild test of 50 performance tyres that showed the FK453 didn't even make it into the top 25.

I had Bridgestone on my E92, swapped them for Michelin Pilot super sports, now on my B7 I have Michelin. I would not change to another brand unless I could not obtain my 21 inch wheel size, but that is an ongoing conversation.

I am lead to believe (someone may correct me) that the Continental sport Contact M3 specific, was the original tyre fitted to the E46 m3.
I have therefore stuck with these.
However, as a winter tyre, I use Vredestein wintrac xtreme, fitted to 18" rims

For originality they're fine. For performance, they're 2 generations out of date.

If you want to stick with Continentals, then the newer 5P are almost as good as the SuperSports - but not sure if they're available in OE sizes.
