I'm looking at buying a '92 318i Design Edition Cabrio in Neon Green .
It's got 172,000 kms on the clock , and looks from pictures to be very clean . It's got a partial history , and is being sold by a dealer in Germany for Eur 3450 . I know the UK market is different to Europeene , but is that a bit too expensive , or is it in court for a Design Edition ?? I know the car has been for sale for at least 3 months as I looked at it last year , but now I'm thinking of making an offer . What do people think would be sensible ?? Chris |

Sorry - but I think its too expensive
Mileage too high, only partial history, LHD if plan to use in UK, the green is worth less than the blue, guess seats will have wear and fabric hard to get.....the sensible offer if he is asking that price he will refuse - better to be honest

Mate, before you buy any e30 highly recommend you peep onto www.e30zone
many e30s are genuine as built so well but there are some with dubious history and generally if it reads to good it most possibly is.
also speak to cabrio or steveB once you have decided what model your ater so you can familiarise yourself with the crittical areas to look or questions to ask.
save you plenty of wasted miles and time IMO.
