   Hi all, For whatever reason my writeup wasn't included in this months mag, so I'm adding it onto here 

Happy new year to all you fellow 1'er drivers out there. First of, apologies for not writing anything in the January magazine. In my excitement during the festive period, i missed the deadline… Now everything is getting "back to normal" (whatever normal is!), this months section is about events, events, events. As promised, theres a few events this year to get that extra bit of excitement out of your 1 series and meet new faces. while you can enjoy your regional events (pub meets, day trips and concourse), there are a few 1 series specific meets to add to your calendar.

Brands Hatch BTCC Meet - Sunday 30 March 2014
After the success of last years BBMW meet at Brands Hatch to support WSR last year, we're attending the opening event again. The plan is to meet up at Pedham Place Golf Centre Car park off the A20 (J3 M25) at 7:30am, and leave at 8am (on the dot) for Brands Hatch (South bank parking on Graham Hill bend)

Tickets are:
£26 advanced ticket, per person
£32 on the gate, per person
Plus £5 (per car) to park on the south bank

Senior Citizens £22 on the gate
Under 13's Free

Enfield Pageant and Collectors Bazaar - 24th to 26th May 2014
This is an event open to all BMW's which I've attended for the last 8 years. In exchange for showing your (clean) car off on the Southeast region stand, everyone in your car (driver and passengers) get free entry. Its a fantastic event with a lot to do and see. If you are interested please let me know your name and car details and i will arrange a your tickets. 

Please note: You will need to to be on site by 10am and will not be able to leave until 4pm. 

The Pageant is one of the biggest and best events in the UK

Silverstone Classic - 25th-27th July 2014
Don't let the name fool you, while the cars on the track have been around before the 1 series was even in the minds of BMW's designers. The cars off the track are both old and new.
The car club is planning to have its biggest stand on the sunday with a club discount of 2 adult tickets for the price of one (Email me for details). Im hoping we can get a good turnout at this event, with the car club planning to make a big impact on the event.

BMW Show - Sunday 28th September 2014

The BMW Show at Santa Pod Raceway is back for it's 8th year and all BMWs are welcome- race cars, show cars, modern, retros, classics, new minis and BMW bikes.
The whole event is based around the drag strip which is open to everyone to test their car and skill over a 1/4 mile strip (£25 for unlimited runs). Tickets last year were £12, with the 1 series stand organised by my good friend Nick Smith. Tickets will be organised closer to the date, so keep your diary free.
Other events
