East Anglia have been trying to arrange a tour of of there extensive workshops, they are based in Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex. This has now been arranged for Sat 1st June. They prepare BMWs for the BTCC and other racing teams. If any one is interested in going please let me know by Thurs 23rd May. If there is not enough interest this event will have to be cancelled.This will be free and will be on a first come first basis. Max of 20 People.

I'd love to come, but unfortunately I have a prior commitment that weekend - marshalling at the Silverstone round of Blancpain.
WSR have been around a long time, with numerous successes in F3 and BTCC, and they are currently - as you say - engineering the eBay BMW's in BTCC. But IMHO they are most famous for running a certain Ayrton Senna da Silva in British Formula 3 in 1983 when he won the title at the last round [just beating Martin Brundle  ]Enjoy the tour, and give my regards to Dick Bennetts [team principle] more team info here |
