I have been in touch with Gary and he is working tonight so please be patient and I'm sure he will be along tomorrow to clear this up

Jim Its not a case of being 'man enough' I think that's a bit unfair! As I said yesterday Gary was working last night and will be on today once he is up to clarify this. I am sure if you have paid you will have a place. There is no evidence of confusion between you and Jim W. Cambell was mearly making a suggestion and trying to help! If you read back you will see there was a mix up between the list on here and on the Bavarian board that's why we stopped using the Bavarian board. I am sure it will be ok but please can I ask you again to be patient and wait until Gary is able to check his list!

Jim, gotta say I'm disappointed. It has been explained that Gary is organising this event and that he'd clarify things when he could. He was working last night till god knows what time and is entitled to a bit of sleep / rest. He took the time from work to quickly come on line to acknowledge your enquiry and confirm he'd be on line today to answer it.

You seem to have misunderstood my comment regarding the 2 Jims. I did not say that was what had happened but tried to offer a plausible explanation of what may have happened.

Comments like "Can someone please be man enough to tell me whether I am on the stand or not." imply that you think that the people trying to help you are withholding this information from you or afraid to tell you. Again, it has been explained that Gary holds this information but has not been on line to answer your query. We are all "man enough" to answer any query but cannot comment if we don't have the answer.

Yes, you have mentioned that you sent payment in February etc and I can assure you nobody will run away with your money, I'm sure its all in hand.

I'd like to point out to everyone that the people who organise these events and activities on behalf of the car club for members and friends do so voluntarily and without exception, to the best of their abilities.

Incidentally I'm one of those who has helped keep the club running for a number of years amongst others but this is voluntary and I along with others have a real job.

Hope this clears up any confusion

Weather is looking not too bad at the moment! Really looking forward to this event as it always a good one! See some of you tomorrow at the hotel and the rest of you on sunday!

yep 1st time at Glamis with the z. great day and great company - some nice cars there aswell - and walking around some of the oldies literally priceless.... great the weather stayed dry.
