Hi there, I own a 56 reg 525d touring (E61) and have got an issue with the chrome trims that surround the window/doors. They are stained with what looks like 'hard water' marks. I've tried a number of products to remove these blemishes, but to no avail. Does anyone know of a product on the market that will resolve my problem? :)

Yes, so far I've tried Auto Glym metal polish as well as super resin polish, but these stains are a stubborn bunch!

Are they really stains or a chemical reaction in the coating? If the latter then there won't be a solution.

It looks like you've tried and tried with no success, so I'd go with mog44t on this
