Bosch Aerotwin Wipers

   These aerotwins are fitted to our Volvo V50. Lovely smooth wipes.
I would like to fit these to our BMW 840Ci.

Has anyone tried this. I saw somewhere on a forum about cutting off the hook and welding it back 

on in reverse so it looks like a conventional wiper arm.

Or, replacing the hook with one cut off the flat blade wiper arms.

I have bought a spare set of wiper arms to work with.

Of course I would keep safe the original wiper arms (with the outward facing hooks) intact for

 originality.
