I am buying a 1997 e60 salon in the next month or so and i just want to know if anyone has any info on the 520 msport and 520 se. is the 4 cylinder any good or should i try and get a six cylinder.

The 520d is very good. It has useful performance and very good economy plus the lighter front end makes it handle even better.

I was surpirse at the 520d sport i had,i presumed it was a 6 clinder and was quite surprised when i lifted the bonnet and saw the empty space.
andrew if your anywhere near milton keynes give me a PM and you can come and play in this one,its a auto 520d sport on a 09 plate,
