The BMWCC will be supporting its racers at the legendary 6 hour Birkett race 25th October - Silverstone GP track The team will also have Kumho Tyres with them testing the new tyres for next season so plenty to see and all carclub members are welcome to come along and see the team and the M3s in the pits and on track - with a huge mix of machinery on track - you will never see this at any other race event through the year - approx 80 teams - and over 300 cars You may have seen the article from last years event - race winners in the team and they are going out to enjoy the day but also get a result for themselves and their sponsors and club Updates will be on the clubs facebook page if you cant make it yourself See you there lets hope there is not too much rain but we have a garage and a pit canopy if you want to use them |

For those that have not seen or been updated by the posts on the club facebook page
The BMW carclub team started with 4 cars and finished with all cars 3 M3s and a class C 328 At one point running an impressive 7th overall on scratch....finishing 10th on time and laps but a very creditable 6th out of the 70 starters on handicap ...not too far from a class win but everyone in the team had a great day very enjoyable and planning for a two team entry next year...pictures will be posted on the forum facebook and club Flickr account soon One fantastic day to be remembered by the team and supporters...well done |
