its been a long day, enjoyable though and even better when the car was running.....which brings me nicely to thanking two individuals in particular. John Thorne and his aid for the day Tom. without the assistance of these two it would've been a early bath for me.
this is why I love our trackdays so much, theres always somebody to offer help and advice or maybe just to have a laugh with.
 
nice to see peter c again and many other familiar faces.

I would like to add thanks to Nick as well for a great track day. Not only for today but to the other two events I attended this year at Snetterton and Cadwell. Of all the organisers that I book through, these BMW track days are my favourite not only for the organisation but the people that attend. 

Unfortunately I had to leave early on with the car on the back of an AA wagon. (Black e36M3) Got home back to Bucks in about 4 hours with only one changeover at Birmingham.

My apologies to all for causing a red flag. I believe an engine mounting broke causing a fan/radiator interface and a waterpump ending up at a funny angle. Pulled off the track as not to cause too much cleaning up as it was dumping coolant everywhere. Thankfully when I turned the car back on it advised me to check coolant level. Who said the Germans don't have a sense of humour. 

Many thanks to Andy Carlile for all the information and advice after looking at the damage.

All in all a great BMWCCUK track day season and look forward to seeing you all next year.

First wet day this year for me so some good practice..



My wife has a few pictures (including the Lotus having fun), will post them up soon

I agree with the above three posts, a great day out at Oulton Park, a big thanks to Nick and his team for all the organisation.

I have had a fantastic year attending all 5 of the BMWCC track days this year, 3300 miles travelled just to get to the tracks and back again and it has been worth every mile. Two new tracks for me to learn this year, Snetterton and Oulton Park but I was soon pointed in the right direction by the instructors provided.

Cannot wait to do it all again next year, see you all on track in 2015.
