Rolling Road Day Leeds 25th April

A Z Register member on ZRoadster.net has confirmed the 25th April with RS Tuning in Leeds for what will be a fantastic Rolling Road day, open to BMW Car Club members.

RS Tuning have recently installed a new 4WD rolling road capable taming upto 1800WHP and they are generally regarded as having very accurate rollers so the figures produced on the day should be pretty much on the money. Fuel/Air ratio graphs are usually included on the graph which will give you a good idea if your car is performing correctly.

For anyone who has not attended one of these events before here's the sequence of events. Each car will be warmed up on the rollers to make sure the engine is upto temperature,  there will be three power runs performed per car with each power curve displayed on a nice plasma screen in the reception area. After the power runs are complete the highest BHP curve will be displayed and a printout given to the lucky winner.

Cars will be run at 15 minute intervals and the usual start time is 9.30am but this will be confirmed nearer the date. Price is £40 for less than 15 cars and £35 for more than 15 cars running so the more cars the better upto a maximum of 25 cars to allow time for everyone to get a decent run on the rollers. Fee payable direct to RS Tuning on the day.

Everyone is welcome to attend even if you do not intend to put your Pride & Joy on the rollers but please do not be shy about bringing your car as the day is also about meeting other car enthusiasts and talking about your favourite subject - CARS.

From the M1 - Fork off the M1 at junction 43 to follow the M621, Leave the M621 at junction 2, then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A643 (signposted Wetherby, Harrogate, York, A58, A61, A64). At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A58 and immediatley left onto Armley Road. After a couple of hundred yards you will see Castleton Close on the right, look to the bottom left and you will see us!

From the M62 - Leave the M62 at junction 27, then join the M621 motorway (signposted Leeds, M621). Leave the M621 at junction 2, then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A643 (signposted Wetherby, Harrogate, York, A58, A61, A64). At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A58 and immediatley left onto Armley Road.
