Dyno-Day, rolling road shootout in Scun thorpe, North Lincs. Sunday, May 31st
Brand new state of the art dyno.
Massive car park and viewing area.

Sundays are looking best for most folk - probably in May after we have had the trackday at Cadwell which is scheduled for the 13th

Glad you all want to come.
Please try and rustle up some others, there is bags of parking space as the rest of the industrial unit will be closed on the Sunday. It will make a brilliant informal BMW meeting, folk can just come and have a look if they want and the main dealers (Astle, Sc**thorpe) are just down the road.
We will be having 4 separate trophies,
biggest power,
lowest power (should be a laugh)
best power per litre
and a car park concours for the cleanest car on the day.

John at Dyno Tune is bringing in some catering and doing us a BBQ.
I have just had the trophies done including one for the 'car of the day' from the car park concours as well as the winners trophies for the shootout. This promises to be one top day out and costs nothing to attend. Everyone is welcome - lets fill the place with BMW's Gates open at 8am - first dyno runs at 9 - got 30 cars booked for power runs but we'll try an get others on if we have time. We are there all day - just come when you like. Nick |

You should have brought it Nick  I thouroughly enjoyed it today and had a good laugh despite my M20B20 recording a mighty 96bhp / 116Lb:Ft (I had to work the torque out so it might not be 100%) Bring on the next one  oh, and the 2.8Edited by Stonesie - 31 May 2009 at 7:40pm |

Glad you enjoyed it and took the 'wooden spoon' trophy in the spirit in which it was intended.
This was our first attempt at a Dyno Day and we still have some rough edges that need knocking off so any pos crit would be welcome.
We dynoed 29 cars today and at one point had 49 cars in the car park.
I think you can count on us running another one.

Nick, a BIG well done it was a resounding success and the weather was gorgeous to boot.
Interesting that these events attract so many and great to have the Zoners present to show we are not such an 'elitist' lot.
