July Run - Monthly meet 4th July

   Many thanks to Gary for planning today's run! Pity he hadn't ordered the
 weather 
The
 weather was to say the least....typical for a Scottish Summers day!
We
 started at McDonalds at the Showcase sheltering from a torrential  
downpour of rain!
We headed off to Inveraray stopping of at 'the Rest
 & be Thankful' which was a very different scene compared to the 
last time I was there in May. We got soaked! (see Neils pic above)
Then
 back into the car to head to find a place for tea in Inveraray. And 
guess what the sun started to break through the clouds while we had a 
cuppa. We then had a lovely drive down to Castle Sween stopping of at 
Crinan for something to eat and a break. Here we decided to take a walk 
as the rain was off and guess what the heavens opened and the rain was 
horizontal...........we got soaked again!!!!!  Thanks to Gary
 for doing his best to shelter me under his umbrella  from a soaking as I
 had no jacket....that will teach me!!  I now looked like a victem of a 
typical weekend at T in the Park! 
There
 was nothing else for it but to head home where i headed straight for a 
hot bath! Thank
 god for the ace heaters in Bm's but my feet never dried out at all!

 usual banter and laughs kept us going as we didnt let the weather 
bother us.
