Folks,

HELP - for my E30 325 sport, lost the immobiliser key!!! Can't start the car. Help, how (if possible) can I bypass the immobiliser???  Its of the variety that has an electronic key/small plastic fob that I have to insert into small apparture on steering column (with flashing red LED), then you can insert key and start. Not sure if this is the std BMW/Scorpion offering...

Any help or advise greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Ben

It wont be standard - need to work out manufacturer - look at control box or siren for details and the control box will have ref no on it...guess dont have the manual in service book

If its old and you dont know what it is then likely solution may be to remove it from the car or replace as some alarm suppliers are currently very reasonable to supply and fit....BUT bear in mind the values are steady for these cars and are likely to increase for the right car so avoid splicing more wires and maybe a professional removal and a more covery security device might work...the choice is yours
