Hi
As anyone had any experiences with the Michelin crossclimate tyres or have these fitted to their car already & how much are they?
I have Dunlop sp sport fast response fitted all round at the moment but need to replace the rears now & will need to replace the fronts possibly in less than 6 months,I normally change in pairs but have thought of changing all 4 at the same time.

I can't have summer & winter sets as I don't have any where to store them whilst not used.

Is there any tyre deals going on at all & if so how do I get them?

Thanks for the help

Regards rich

I moved away from Dunlop All Seasons on my E46, as I found the necessary compromises needed in an all season tyre meant they were wrong too much of the time for me. Have you tried looking for a tyre fitter who will also store for you ?
I just bought a set of winter tyres from mytyres.co.uk. I googled first for discount codes and found one that got me an extra 3% off. Not huge, but that will pay for the fitting...

I haven't had any problems with the dunlops I have fitted at the moment or with the others I had previously of which were sp sport 2000 & used both of these all year round. I went to the tyre fitters I normally use to get a price on Michelin crossclimate & they were about £72 each.

I have never used an all season or winter tyres before so don't know what to expect with regards to noise or how long they will last before they need replacing.

To be honest I hadn't thought to ask at the tyre fitters if they could store any for me but then I would still need to purchase another set of wheels.

I had no problems noise-wise with all seasons. Wear seemed OK but I didn't cover that many miles before selling them. I just found they were imprecise and not very grippy compared to summer tyres in good weather. And just didn't have the same grip that winter tyres have on a cold wet winter morning. So I have gone to two sets of wheels and tyres. The second set of wheels I got off ebay for about 100.

ATS owned by Michelin do a deal whereby they will store tyres for you free of charge if you buy them from them. I only have some old ditch finders on my E39.
