My 'new' 1999 E36 M3 Evo Convertible

Hi Folks,

Relatively new to the Forum and club.

Recently bought a 1999 E36 M3 Evo Convertible with FSH and a genuine 84,000 miles on the clock. Previously V222 BAD but now reunited with its original number plate V81 DPH.

I believe it may have been one of the last UK spec E36 M3 Convertibles made(?), so I have written to BMW Classic, Munich for the build record and confirmation of the production run number. DPH was fully loaded with factory options from new - spec:

1. Automatic Air-conditioning
2. Automatic Speed Hold
3. BMW Professional RDS (in a box in the garage!) and a 6 CD Unit
4. BMW HiFi Loudspeaker System: High-power Harmon/Kardon 10 speaker system
5. Electric Front Seats
6. Heated Front Seats
7. Front Centre Arm Rest
8. Front Passenger Airbag
9. Graduated Tinted Screen
10. Hardtop
11. Headlamp Cleaning System
12. High Gloss Walnut Interior Trim
13. Rear Park Distance Control
