hi all
I recently rejoined having been on the previous site before the madness kicked in. At that time I was still looking for an E34 M5 3.8. I finally bought one in may last year. When I sort out how to put photo's on here I will send some ( i will ask my daughter as i hate these computers ) . At present I have the following
E30 325 touring 1989
E36 328 touring 1998
E36 318 tds touring 1999
E46 330 D M sport 2002
E34 3.8 M5 1992
oh and just for a change bought her indoors a different car from that other german manufacturer A170 CDi 2002
many thanks
Andy

Welcome to the forum Andy and congratulations on buying an absolutely cracking car in the shape of your E34 3.8 M5 .
There is an E34 M5 Board meet on Feb 18th 1pm at The Goat pub , Hertford Heath if you are interested in meeting fellow enthusiasts .
Are you a member of the M5Board ? With your disdain for computers , I very much doubt it , but recommend that you join as you will discover a friendly and knowledgable bunch of guys and gals that share your enthusiasm for these great cars .
Best wishes ,
David

It had to be Estoril Blue! Loved it ever since I saw it on the E36 M3.
I wasn't going to get one unless it was that colour, I would only regret not having it everytime I saw one.
I had to wait a while for one to come up in Estoril Blue to the exact specification that I wanted (black leather, manual, 19in wheels, tv/sat nav prof) but worth it.

Although not in the same league I know what you mean. I was pleased to find my Clubsport with decent spec and good condition after seeing some poor examples. Mine has pro nav/tv, H/K & 6 disc changer, bi-xenons, etc.
Although mine had to be an auto given a damaged spine from years ago! Well worth the wait.

Hi there, I've just joined the club and forum. I have an 01/90 E32 730i in Calypso Red with black leather with a 66l LPG conversion in the boot! (LPG conversion done by a previous owner)
A couple of years ago I had an E34 520i but that was more a chance purchase - I needed a cheap car straight away and it ticked enough boxes (although turned out to be a lemon!) But the E32 was a deliberate choice - my wife passed her driving test an demanded that I gave her our car to run around in (a Smart ForFour!) so I had a search and found a decent nick E32 with the toys I wanted and picked it up! I'm in Scotland (am probably planning to go to the Scottish meeting next month, depending on my wife's shifts etc) and I've already taken the car to Davy at BM Motors for a check over to make sure there's nothing imminently going to cause a problem, as recommended by Derek on the 7 Series Register. I've bought myself a Bentley manual (although it looks like I'll have less desperate cause to use it with the E32 than I did with the E34! ) and am currently trying to balance a budget between my wife's desire to put in a driveway now that we have two cars, and my desire to put a touchscreen pc in the car..... ![]() So yeah.... Hi! |

Hi there Doogie, sorry only just noticed your post here . Problem is since we started the show your car section in the photo section everyone always seems to head there. Anyway belated welcome to the forum. Get a couple of pics up, they always go down well. One of the nicest colours Calypso. Drop a post on the Scottish region it will probably get more responce.
Cheers, Steve.

Hello All,
I am returning to the car club after an absence of nearly six years. I used to be a member with SE Region and a member of the Drivers Club. Now living in Northamptonshire I hope to become an active member with Central Region. My love affair with BMW started as a kid back in the seventies with a trip in my mates Dad’s E3 3.0. “BMW? Never heard of them”. Dusky metallic pink and a white vinyl roof. “Huh looks like a girl’s car”, Ok I was about 9 and as I mentioned earlier, it was Life on Mars early 1970's. It wasn’t until it burbled to life and we reached what seemed like warp factor 10 that I realised it wasn’t quite like my Father’s Cortina Mk II. My ownership history started with a very basic spec 86 E28 520i nearly twenty years ago. A couple of face lifted E30 325i’s and an 85 E23 732i later and I’m back. This time with Billie, who is a previously unloved E30 325iA SE in Glacier Blue/Indigo. Billie and I look forward to meeting you all and having many adventures together. JON |

Hello everybody. My name is Steve Emerson and I have
just joined BMWCC. I have a 1986 M535i Hartge. Not sure if it's
original. It did not really come with any history.
I got it cheap though and I plan to give her suitable TLC and get involved in the club. I also have a 530d M Sport Touring and had an E46 M3 before that. I live in Central London and would appreciate any tips on a suitable independant BMW Specialist that I can put the M535i in to for a professional opinion on what needs doing, now and in the future. I will put some pics on the photo section of the forum later today. Alternatively they are at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9263460@N02/613881639/in/photostream/ Best regards, Steve. |

Hi I have been a car club memeber for quite a while, but just not getting time for the forum.
I have two E30 M3's and a 2002 being rebuilt from a bare shell. The one M3 is in very good condition and the other one is for general runaround and track days.

Hi all just joined the club for the first time after owning my CSL for 10months now.
I have been a long time Ford man coming from an Escort Cosworth before the CSL and usually post a lot on www.passionford.com. But like a few others saw the light and decided to drive something less agricultural!!
I love my track days and trips to the ring and will hopefully start doing some in the CSL soon. New baby has put pay to that in the last couple of years!
Really gutted I missed Gaydon the other week, especially as I only live 10 minutes away
Here is a piccy of the old and new cars
