Hi there Replicon, looks like we have something in common ! In 6 years of owning it, i've never seen another with the same spec & colour. Look forward to meeting you some time, your only just down the road from me!

Thank's for your kind comments, Replicon, but your car puts mine in the shade. Could you tell me where you had it detailed & roughly how much it cost you ?
Thank's Melvyn for "THAT" photo, who's that porker polishing my car?!!

Thanks! I had the car detailed at KDS Keltec in Gillingham:

Website:

Detail of the car:

The chap who runs it (Kelly) did a fantastic job. Lepsons is located on the same business park so while Kelly took care of the car, Lepsons did the wheels. The detail cost £500, a lot of money I know but the car was quite scruffy before it went in - a lot of swirl marks and scratches from the previous owner, now, you'd never guess it was a 53 plate. Lepsons did the wheels at £77 a corner - OEM diamond cut finish.

The detail involved cleaning, claying, machine polishing (wet-sanding where appropriate), sealing, and waxing the paint; engine bay clean, interior clean, leather cleaned and retouched where necessary then conditioned. Wheels were waxed and calipers painted.

Cheers,

Paul.

Thanks again Paul, amazingly KDS are just 4 miles from my front door !! & i didn't know they existed, in spite of using Lepsons many times. I'm saving my pennies now for that "back to new" look.

Mike.
