Newbie saying hi

   I thought I'd better introduce myself, I'm Adam and I'm from the Wirral, yesterday i picked up my wonderful 1996 728i from near Yorkshire. I'm so impressed with it, not really surprising as I've come from a Granada Scorpio V6, a very charming car, but the E38 is in a different league entirely. In the past I've owned Jaguars, XJ40's, XJ-S's too, one a V12 beauty; I did all my own servicing too. Other cars I've had are a Range Rover Classic LSE 4.2, which was once owned by Vinny Jones and a very nice W140 S-Class 3.2. Previous BMW's have all been E28's, from a humble 1.8 carb to a 2.5 of 1982 vintage, I think I've owned four of them in various guises.

This latest BMW though is something else though, It's so quiet, comfortable, handles well and the sound of the engine is gorgeous, a bit similar to an E28 520i I once owned; for the money it's hard to beat.

I haven't taken any pics so far, but I intend to as soon as I've washed, clayed, polished and waxed it 

I hope to contribute where I can and hopefully come to some meetings where possible. By the way, I keep a blog site on my cars if anyone's interested in taking a peek, nothing fancy just bits and pieces that I do on my cars.

	Hi Adam and welcome along, quite new myself, all very friendly here you 'll soon feel right at home, plenty of events going on throughout the year so am sure you'll find a few that are of interest
