Ok guys I am trying to pull together the November Monthly meet. this is
traditionally an over night stay in Aberdeen meeting up with the North
East guys on the Sunday for lunch.
However I am suggesting something slightly different this year. Travel up to Nethybridge either on the Friday 5th or the Sat 6th for the over night stay. If we go on the Friday there are lots of terrific roads we could explore on the Sat then over the Cockbridge/Tomintoul road to meet any North guys who would like to meet up for lunch on the Sunday maybe in Crathie. I would like to know whos interested so I can get it planned. At the moment the hotel is offering £33pppn but I am going to try and get a deal once I know how many are interested!!

Another brilliant weekend of Car Club fun - it's ages since I've laughed so much.
The hotel was a little different to what we're used to, being very formal and having to be called in for dinner. Also in the pre-dinner speech, the owner gave us a mention, to introduce us to the other guests. However, for £40/night for DBB it was excellent value. Saturday was a short trip to the Cairn Gorm Railway (fenicular) - a trip up to the Ptarmigan lounge and viewing platform showed stunning views of the surrounding area Sunday was the trip home. We headed cross country to Braemar, then down Glenshee. Stunning scenery, it was just a pity there was no snow on the mountains Here are a few of my photos of the weekend ...

Well, I guess I should log in here a bit more often! Sorry I missed this - the area is very familiar to me as I lived in Aviemore for a long time - I'm in Inverness now.
Oh well - Maybe next time!

That was a top wkend, I never stopped laughing. the banter was brilliant
folks keep an eye out for more wkend madness in 2011. maybe you can join in, it'll be worth it.
