I had heard that peanut butter was good for getting those black trim bits black again.

With a virtually empty jar of the stuff in the cupboard I thought why not give it a go, what harm can it do?

The black trim bits around the windows and especially the door mirrors of my E39 530d were more grey than black so I set to the mirror surrounds first. The stuff, smooth version of course, goes on easily enough and I did a couple of applications and then gave a good rub in until there was no residue left, which didn't take long and it works alright!

I tried a bit on the rubber around the windscreen and it wasn't as good as on the plastic so I used regular stuff for that.

I use the Cherry Glaze on glass, good stuff but not tried anything on the paint

Think about what you can do for the club, not what it can do for you...

not yet, i still have loads of other makes of wax to finish off.. i have heard good reports of a/s products. i use their apc (101) which i think is a fantastic product and great value for money as you can dilute it to suit your needs.   the polish/wax combo i use is the menserna range (excellent on hard bm paint) and megs no 16 topped off with red mist or final touch.

I know what you mean about having other wax,s to finish off, i have at least six tubs that have not been used in over a year. I have not tried the menz range as i am happy with the 3m polishes for paint correction work.
i detail for a living so use a very wide range of products.
