Convertibles rally, 2021?

As a (very partisan) convertible owner, I was wondering.....  would the Club consider a "Convertibles only" Club event, next year? (2021).

Either, one National event, or a series of co-ordinated regional events / runs across the UK, on the same weekend? Just for convertibles?

Just a thought..... as Convertibles are kind of a group in themselves.

Thoughts?

I'm going to re-open this thread, as I feel it died too quickly, and without the thought and consideration I felt it deserved.

So, my original proposition was.... and still is.... a "Convertibles Only" show, rally, or run, in the UK, in the Summer of 2021. I had originally suggested either one National event, or a series of co-ordinated local events on the same day. On reflection, perhaps this second idea is un-workable, as for each Region Rep to secure a site on the same day - without interfering with other planned events - will be impossible.

So, let me expand on the former idea, of the one single National event.*

We convertible owners love the Summer! It is what our cars were made for. Speaking for myself, Bessie only ever comes out of the garage when the sun is out and the roads are dry, therefore I'd say I drive with the roof open about 98% of the time. Despite Coronavirus, we have had (here in East Anglia) a particularly pleasant summer, and I have had Bessie out a lot this year, on solo runs, purely for my own pleasure and satisfaction.

What a wonderful idea then, surely, for the Convertibles to converge together in one place* at once?

The event would be open to all BMWs which could be described as Convertibles, whether new, old, or vintage; M-models or non-M-models, concours examples or rough-n-ready daily drivers.

As for the organising of the event (or events - see asterisk* at the bottom of the post) I would like to open this up to the more experienced organisers, those who have arranged and co-ordinated events before. Sadly, I myself do not fall under this category, and my Aspergers precludes me from being able to get my head around the logistical aspects of sourcing suitable venues and from corresponding with their representatives. But just because I myself am unable to organise it, surely the consensus would be in favour of such an event, in theory? 

Let us celebrate our Glorious UK summer - and our glorious BMW convertibles - together, as a Club, in 2021? What do you say? Do you agree that this proposition merits some proper discussion?

* or perhaps TWO concurrent events - one in the South of England, and a similar event in the North, which would cater for our friends in Scotland?
